Hi, Svetlana!

I didn’t really aspire to have a formal leadership position in the corporate world. 

So I was surprised when early in my career my manager commented: “you’ll be a great manager”. Me? A manager?! 

I don’t fit the bill, do I? Don’t you need to be a super-assertive alpha, or ace the “corporate politics” game, or be willing to sacrifice and compromise for the sake of gaining influence and power? That would not be me. 

 

Power is not my thing. Empowerment is!

Now I know that every single one of us is a leader. At the very least you lead yourself, then goes your family, kids, or friends, and quite possibly a team or an organization as. 

I also believe that there are natural leaders who will bring huge value to the organization as well as make their experience at work and in life immensely more fulfilling if they fully unlock their leadership potential. This will also benefit the entire system.

Are you a natural leader?

  • Do you think about your contribution?
  • Do you want to have a bigger impact?
  • Do people come to you with questions or when something goes wrong?
  • Do people share with you things they don’t tell others?...

These are some of the indicators of inner leadership.

This is the time when leadership is needed at all levels of the organization.

As McKinsey Co pointed out, COVID-19 accelerated the shift away from authoritarian leadership to new forms of distributed decision making. The demands of faster business cycles require that decisions be pushed to the peripheries. With less physical presence, there are more opportunities and need for leaders at all levels. 

If you have the inkling that you want to step up your leadership potential, the time is NOW. Even with all the uncertainty, you have much more control and choice than it may seem. And you have a unique opportunity.

And I will be happy to help. My focus is to unlock and liberate natural leaders.

How to develop your natural leadership potential

The first step is self-agency, taking the power you have over your own life, and connecting to what's important to you.  Here the empowerment comes in.

What would it be like to confidently know your strengths and be able to leverage them off with integrity to make the impact that you want to make? 

How much longer do you think you have to work? Do you want to slog away fighting exhaustion or be energized about what you do and the contribution that you make?
